Photographing summer landscapes can be a very rewarding experience. Just about anywhere you go there are interesting landscapes just asking to be photographed.
Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, Florida, is a great place to photograph the botanical gardens, a zoo, and an amusement park. It is located on a beautiful lake, which makes for a perfect backdrop.
Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor, Maine, has a 27-mile park loop that has the most amazing scenic landscapes. It is near the ocean and has some of the most incredible scenery in the New England area.
California is a great area for summer landscapes. There are beautiful wildflowers, Aspen trees, mountains, rocky landscapes, mountain streams, springs, and forests. You can find great places to take pictures in any part of the state.
Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks are places where you can get great summer landscapes. You will see meadows with animals, wildflowers, and waterfalls. For the best light, the shots need to be taken in the afternoon.
Nova Scotia and the Maine Coast have wild roses and lupines, fog, and harbors where you can get great shots of fishing and lobstering gear.
Rocky Mountains National Park in Colorado has beautiful flowers, aspen groves, grazing bighorn sheep, and elk. The mountains are very scenic as well as the sunsets and sunrises. The Colorado Rockies have an alpine meadow of wildflowers that are red, yellow and blue.
The Olympic National Park in Washington has just about everything. There are tide pools, old-growth forests, subalpine flowering meadows, glacier-topped mountains, and beaches.
